Narrative:

Once established on the visual approach and after receiving a clearance to land on runway 8 at albuquerque international sunport, the tower controller mentioned that an air carrier Y B737 had the nose of their aircraft a few ft beyond the hold line dividing taxiway A1 and runway 8, and asked if 'we (air carrier X) were ok with that.' my captain and I considered the option of a go around and both of us determined that a go around was not necessary. Again abq tower cleared us, air carrier X, to land runway 8. Then air carrier Y said over the tower frequency that 'they weren't comfortable with somebody landing over their nose.' abq's runway 8 begins with a displaced threshold 1000 ft east of the original threshold. We continued our approach and landed safely on the 13775 ft of runway.

Narrative: ONCE ESTABLISHED ON THE VISUAL APCH AND AFTER RECEIVING A CLRNC TO LAND ON RWY 8 AT ALBUQUERQUE INTL SUNPORT, THE TWR CTLR MENTIONED THAT AN ACR Y B737 HAD THE NOSE OF THEIR ACFT A FEW FT BEYOND THE HOLD LINE DIVIDING TXWY A1 AND RWY 8, AND ASKED IF 'WE (ACR X) WERE OK WITH THAT.' MY CAPT AND I CONSIDERED THE OPTION OF A GAR AND BOTH OF US DETERMINED THAT A GAR WAS NOT NECESSARY. AGAIN ABQ TWR CLRED US, ACR X, TO LAND RWY 8. THEN ACR Y SAID OVER THE TWR FREQ THAT 'THEY WEREN'T COMFORTABLE WITH SOMEBODY LNDG OVER THEIR NOSE.' ABQ'S RWY 8 BEGINS WITH A DISPLACED THRESHOLD 1000 FT E OF THE ORIGINAL THRESHOLD. WE CONTINUED OUR APCH AND LANDED SAFELY ON THE 13775 FT OF RWY.
