Narrative:
Was cleared to taxi from gate to runway 8. No route was specified by the ground/tower controller (he was working both stations). I asked the captain if he would taxi via taxiway C and he said yes. Left turn prior to runway 8/25 parallel is taxiway C. Captain began taxi and I continued my taxi flow and checklist. Captain said clear left and I looked up and out and cleared runway to right and we crossed the runway. Just past the runway we both simultaneously realized we had crossed runway 8/25 (the active) via taxiway J and that the captain had missed the turn on taxiway C. I informed ground/tower controller of the missed turn and he then cleared us to back taxi on runway 8 into position. No other aircraft were involved in either the takeoff or landing phase of flight.

Title: CL65 CREW HAD RWY INCURSION.
Narrative: WAS CLRED TO TAXI FROM GATE TO RWY 8. NO RTE WAS SPECIFIED BY THE GND/TWR CTLR (HE WAS WORKING BOTH STATIONS). I ASKED THE CAPT IF HE WOULD TAXI VIA TXWY C AND HE SAID YES. L TURN PRIOR TO RWY 8/25 PARALLEL IS TXWY C. CAPT BEGAN TAXI AND I CONTINUED MY TAXI FLOW AND CHKLIST. CAPT SAID CLR L AND I LOOKED UP AND OUT AND CLRED RWY TO R AND WE CROSSED THE RWY. JUST PAST THE RWY WE BOTH SIMULTANEOUSLY REALIZED WE HAD CROSSED RWY 8/25 (THE ACTIVE) VIA TXWY J AND THAT THE CAPT HAD MISSED THE TURN ON TXWY C. I INFORMED GND/TWR CTLR OF THE MISSED TURN AND HE THEN CLRED US TO BACK TAXI ON RWY 8 INTO POS. NO OTHER ACFT WERE INVOLVED IN EITHER THE TKOF OR LNDG PHASE OF FLT.
