Narrative:

The runway 31 VASI has been inoperative for an extended period of time. Aircraft conducting visual or VOR approachs to runway 31 are not afforded any vertical guidance to touchdown. This constitutes an unacceptable erosion of safety, especially in light of the fact that transport category jet aircraft operating under far 121 in passenger carrying operations are routinely operating on this approach. The runway 31 VASI at acy needs to be returned to operational status immediately. Additionally, there are numerous taxiway edge light outages at acy. Please have these discrepancies rectified.
