Narrative:

Left engine had a problem with oil pressure falling that developed during climb. It eventually led to warning that required engine to be shut down. This was done following normal procedures for the event. An emergency was declared and landing was made at the closest airport in time and distance, shv. Had emergency equipment stand by and landing was uneventful. The event was unforeseeable in my estimation. Crew coordination and participation led to a quick and efficient end to the event.
