Narrative:
While waiting to taxi, our DC9 was struck in the aft right fuselage, damaging the trailing wing and fuselage. The aircraft was hit by an unmanned fuel truck which had rolled across the ramp until it hit our aircraft. There were no reported injuries and all passenger were escorted down the forward stairs and led back into the terminal.

Title: A DC9 FLC IS STARTLED WHEN AN UNMANNED FUEL TRUCK HITS THEIR ACFT WHILE AWAITING TAXI OFF THE RAMP AT DTW, MI.
Narrative: WHILE WAITING TO TAXI, OUR DC9 WAS STRUCK IN THE AFT R FUSELAGE, DAMAGING THE TRAILING WING AND FUSELAGE. THE ACFT WAS HIT BY AN UNMANNED FUEL TRUCK WHICH HAD ROLLED ACROSS THE RAMP UNTIL IT HIT OUR ACFT. THERE WERE NO RPTED INJURIES AND ALL PAX WERE ESCORTED DOWN THE FORWARD STAIRS AND LED BACK INTO THE TERMINAL.
