Narrative:

The purser notified me that passenger xy had been smoking in the lavatory. When confronted about this, he became belligerent with purser. A short time later, he began drinking cognac out of duty free bottles that he had brought onboard. When told to stop this, he continued. I went back to his seat and told him that if he did not stop smoking, stop drinking, and start complying with the flight attendant's requests, that we would land at gander, newfoundland, and have him removed by the auths. He said he would do all the above and there were no further incidents.

Title: PIREP, MD11, DFW-LGR. PAX SMOKING IN LAVATORY, DRINKING FROM OWN BOTTLE. CAPT LEFT COCKPIT AND ORDERED HIM TO STOP. PAX COMPLIED.

Narrative: THE PURSER NOTIFIED ME THAT PAX XY HAD BEEN SMOKING IN THE LAVATORY. WHEN CONFRONTED ABOUT THIS, HE BECAME BELLIGERENT WITH PURSER. A SHORT TIME LATER, HE BEGAN DRINKING COGNAC OUT OF DUTY FREE BOTTLES THAT HE HAD BROUGHT ONBOARD. WHEN TOLD TO STOP THIS, HE CONTINUED. I WENT BACK TO HIS SEAT AND TOLD HIM THAT IF HE DID NOT STOP SMOKING, STOP DRINKING, AND START COMPLYING WITH THE FLT ATTENDANT'S REQUESTS, THAT WE WOULD LAND AT GANDER, NEWFOUNDLAND, AND HAVE HIM REMOVED BY THE AUTHS. HE SAID HE WOULD DO ALL THE ABOVE AND THERE WERE NO FURTHER INCIDENTS.
