Narrative:
While on the routing/vector for phl, center issued a clearance for a left turn to a 050 degree heading for spacing to our call sign. We read back the clearance and began our turn as directed. Shortly thereafter we were questioned on our heading to which we said 050 degrees assigned. Center claimed that was for another aircraft and gave us a right turn to approximately 100 degrees. No conflict arose that I am aware of.
