Narrative:
At FL230, got a 'tail compartment temperature high' annunciator light. We performed the emergency checklist procedure and it directed us to idle 1 engine to extinguish the light (after initial checklist items didn't put it out). I landed at the nearest suitable airport. We decided that would be msp, our planned destination, and declared an emergency with ZMP. We landed without incident at msp and taxied to the gate.
