Narrative:
At 42 DME north of ranger VORTAC at 10000 ft on IFR flight plan, I canceled IFR and commanded a VFR descent. At 35 DME, was told to turn left to a heading of 280 degrees, as the controller stated I had entered class B airspace. At cancellation of my IFR and commencing VFR descent, I was told to remain clear of class B airspace. I was on a 210 degree heading to T67 (hicks field near afw) and descending to 3000 ft MSL. At the time of the controller call, I was at 5000 ft MSL and descending at 1500 FPM with 2 mins to go to class B airspace south of ranger, tx, on the chart). I complied with the instructions and didn't query the controller, as his workload at that moment was very high. Within 1 min, I was told by the controller I was clear of class B airspace and could proceed on course. I proceeded to my destination at 2500 ft MSL VFR and landed uneventfully. From my perspective, charts and avionics, I remained clear of class B airspace. If I did encroach the airspace it was by a matter of a few hundred ft and within 1 mi. I was using a dfw sectional class B chart that was current.

Title: PLT OF A C320 INADVERTENTLY ENTERED CLASS B AIRSPACE WHEN DSNDING TO LAND AFTER CANCELING HIS IFR FLT PLAN.
Narrative: AT 42 DME N OF RANGER VORTAC AT 10000 FT ON IFR FLT PLAN, I CANCELED IFR AND COMMANDED A VFR DSCNT. AT 35 DME, WAS TOLD TO TURN L TO A HDG OF 280 DEGS, AS THE CTLR STATED I HAD ENTERED CLASS B AIRSPACE. AT CANCELLATION OF MY IFR AND COMMENCING VFR DSCNT, I WAS TOLD TO REMAIN CLR OF CLASS B AIRSPACE. I WAS ON A 210 DEG HDG TO T67 (HICKS FIELD NEAR AFW) AND DSNDING TO 3000 FT MSL. AT THE TIME OF THE CTLR CALL, I WAS AT 5000 FT MSL AND DSNDING AT 1500 FPM WITH 2 MINS TO GO TO CLASS B AIRSPACE S OF RANGER, TX, ON THE CHART). I COMPLIED WITH THE INSTRUCTIONS AND DIDN'T QUERY THE CTLR, AS HIS WORKLOAD AT THAT MOMENT WAS VERY HIGH. WITHIN 1 MIN, I WAS TOLD BY THE CTLR I WAS CLR OF CLASS B AIRSPACE AND COULD PROCEED ON COURSE. I PROCEEDED TO MY DEST AT 2500 FT MSL VFR AND LANDED UNEVENTFULLY. FROM MY PERSPECTIVE, CHARTS AND AVIONICS, I REMAINED CLR OF CLASS B AIRSPACE. IF I DID ENCROACH THE AIRSPACE IT WAS BY A MATTER OF A FEW HUNDRED FT AND WITHIN 1 MI. I WAS USING A DFW SECTIONAL CLASS B CHART THAT WAS CURRENT.
