Narrative:
After landing on runway 5R in cle the tower controller told us to expedite exiting the runway at taxiway M and hold short of taxiway left for B767 taxiing. If you exit at taxiway M and clear the runway you are on taxiway left. The B767 stopped when he saw this situation developing and gave way to us as we cleared the runway. The aircraft landing behind us on runway 5R touched down as soon as we cleared the runway. The controller should have known there is not enough room to clear the hold short lines and keep out of the way of the B767.
