Narrative:
About 130 mi south of gcm notified by flight attendant that a first class passenger was having trouble breathing and had minor chest pains. He also mentioned that he had a history of minor heart problems. I told flight attendant to ask if a doctor was onboard. A doctor talked with passenger and examined him. He then advised me that the passenger needed to get to a hospital right away. We declared an emergency and diverted into gcm and had an ambulance waiting.
