Narrative:
Right after liftoff from runway 27L encountered a large flock of very large birds and impacted several birds. Felt a vibration after bird impact. Left engine vibration showed fan vibes at 5.0. No yaw or loss of thrust. Climbed to 3000 ft, reduced left engine to idle. Declared emergency, landed with left engine at idle using engine out speeds/confign. On shutdown found numerous bent blades in left engine fan section. Damage also found to engine acoustical lining. Airport authority/authorized found engine acoustical material and remains of several turkey vultures on runway 27L.
