Narrative:

When preflight planning pdx-anc with ADF inoperative, I overlooked the fact that J133 is made up using hbk NDB. When the flight was en route, the captain called me and informed me of this fact. I had checked the high altitude en route chart before dispatching against the routing on the upper part of the flight plan, and it was not obvious that the NDB was part of the jet airway. However, if I had looked at the lower part of the flight plan were it breaks down the routing even further, it becomes clear that the NDB is used. I need to check every NAVAID from the lower section of our flight plans because sometimes the en route charts are not real clear what NAVAID is associated with what jet airway.

Title: AN ACR IS DISPATCHED ON A RTE THAT INCLUDES J-133. THAT AIRWAY IS PARTLY DEFINED BY AN NDB FACILITY. THE ACFT USED DID NOT HAVE AN OPERATIVE ADF RECEIVER.
