Narrative:
Delayed turn after clearance. While first officer was flying leese arrival into mco we received a clearance to go directly to leese intersection and a descent clearance with an altitude setting while flight attendant was asking about arrival time. I selected altitude and altimeter setting and noticed first officer descending, but did not notice he failed to turn direct to leese. Center called back and asked if we were going direct and first officer said no, but we are turning now. It must have been 4 or 5 mins between calls.
