Narrative:

Climbing out of clt in an airbus 319 aircraft, we were cleared to 14000 ft. On autoplt at 12500 ft, we got a TCASII RA to descend. Disconnected autoplt, reached 13000 ft then descended to 12000 ft till clear of traffic. Advised ATC we had responded to a TCASII RA. Clt departure said traffic was non radar participating VFR traffic at 13500 ft and it was no problem.
