Narrative:
Called out to crew an aircraft substituted for a B727. Received a revised flight plan to account for new equipment. Received a pre departure clearance for our flight number, but didn't notice it was issued for the B727. ZTL tower controller caught the discrepancy before issuing takeoff clearance.

Narrative: CALLED OUT TO CREW AN ACFT SUBSTITUTED FOR A B727. RECEIVED A REVISED FLT PLAN TO ACCOUNT FOR NEW EQUIP. RECEIVED A PDC FOR OUR FLT NUMBER, BUT DIDN'T NOTICE IT WAS ISSUED FOR THE B727. ZTL TWR CTLR CAUGHT THE DISCREPANCY BEFORE ISSUING TKOF CLRNC.
