Narrative:
Performing touch and go's in a piper seneca. I accidentally lifted the gear handle instead of flaps upon landing. I immediately put the handle in the down position again, but it was too late, the nose gear retracted. The nose hit the ground and we slid to a stop. Consequently the propellers hit the ground also. I feel that as a student, my instructor and I should probably have not been doing touch and go's in this particular aircraft with my experience in it. The majority of my flight time is in cessna's in which the flaps handle is on the dash not the floor. Maybe this is why I reached for the handle.
