Narrative:
Within seconds after flaps up selected, EICAS left hydraulic system pressurization light illuminated and amber overhead light system pressurization illuminated. We leveled off at 3000 ft AGL, notified NAS ATC of problem, notified flight attendants of problem and proposed return to field, and accomplished hydraulic system left system inoperative, trailing edge flap disagreement and gear disagreement checklists. Flight attendants and passenger were informed as time and workload permitted. Landed at NAS without further incident.
