Narrative:

I knew something was wrong on 'lift off.' you could hear a loud 'clunk' and feel the immediate loss of power. We never seemed to gain much altitude after that. We went over the water (which seemed very close) gained a little altitude then made the turn. Wheels up, wheels down 10 mins. On landing you could definitely feel right side heavy. The pilots made an excellent landing. Taxied to gate. Passenger were very calm (scared).
