Narrative:
Flight attendants #5 and #3 were in their designated jump seats and noticed a burning smell. I got up and smelled the area then reported it to the cockpit. We went back to the sju airport and the mechanics took the coffee maker out since the flight attendants realized that the overhead bin above the coffee makers in the G3 galley were extremely hot. They found a burned wire behind the unit.
