The captain thought he heard a position and hold clearance. I did not, so I asked him to stop and we did -- over the hold line. ATC said nothing.

Title: SAAB 340 CAPT STARTED TO TAXI INTO POS WHEN THE FO ADVISED THAT HE DID NOT THINK THEY HAD BEEN CLRED TO DO SO. TWR CTLR DID NOT COMMENT.
