Narrative:
While turning out south right turn from the gate after tow-out, a white van accelerating, directly across our nose from right to left. This vehicle just missed the front of our moving aircraft by about 10 ft. Our taxi light was on and this van accelerated to over 45 mph and just barely missed us. This, of course, is unacceptable and totally negligent behavior on this individuals part -- which placed the safety of our aircraft and its occupants in imminent danger. Individual needs to be trained to the rules of 'right-of-way' on an airfield to avoid further danger to aircraft.
