Narrative:
During completion of engineering change order, MD80 coach seat phone removal, FAA technical service order tags inadvertently removed from seat assemblies. Information was unclr on paperwork which tags to remove. New identify looked exactly like technical service order tags. Engineering change order instructions were somewhat unclr on 'silver tags.'

Narrative: DURING COMPLETION OF ENGINEERING CHANGE ORDER, MD80 COACH SEAT PHONE REMOVAL, FAA TECHNICAL SVC ORDER TAGS INADVERTENTLY REMOVED FROM SEAT ASSEMBLIES. INFO WAS UNCLR ON PAPERWORK WHICH TAGS TO REMOVE. NEW IDENT LOOKED EXACTLY LIKE TECHNICAL SVC ORDER TAGS. ENGINEERING CHANGE ORDER INSTRUCTIONS WERE SOMEWHAT UNCLR ON 'SILVER TAGS.'
