Narrative:
On approach into teb, controller cleared us (we were at 2500 ft) we waited for the GS, then he yelled at us for not descending to 1500 ft as depicted on the plate as a hard altitude. I think if they wanted us down, they should have told us to. Supplemental information from acn 598733: on the ILS for runway 6 at teb, missed the mandatory descent to 1500 ft (the controller just said cleared for approach). We waited for GS to come down. Did not know depicted meant a hard altitude.

I THINK IF THEY WANTED US DOWN, THEY SHOULD HAVE TOLD US TO. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 598733: ON THE ILS FOR RWY 6 AT TEB, MISSED THE MANDATORY DSCNT TO 1500 FT (THE CTLR JUST SAID CLRED FOR APCH).
