Narrative:
Got call from flight attendant just as we were leveling off. Passenger was not conscious and a doctor was being paged. Doctor came forward and an rn was assisting. Doctor said to have paramedics meet flight. Told ATC that we have a medical emergency on board and if they had more direct route to msp. They gave us direct andie, followed by direct msp. ATC then asked if we wanted runway 30R, as they were landing runway 12L. I asked the wind and they were within limits (140 degrees/7 KTS), said yes. Then cleared and landed uneventful. Taxied to the gate. Dispatch called msp and they said they were ready. We taxied to gate and no one there to park us. Set brake and inquired very stern as to where they were and we have an unconscious passenger on board. Finally they meandered out with no sense of urgency whatsoever. Paramedics met flight and took passenger off and to hospital.
