Narrative:
On this flight from mia to las, one of my first class passenger came up to my first class galley with the B757 briefing card from his seat pocket and questioned me extensively about which aircraft on the diagram in briefing card was the same as the B757 we were flying on our aircraft. I explained the difference in overwater (life rafts), partial overwater, and answered his questions regarding how we would identify the different configns. Shortly before landing in las, as I walked down first class aisle, he asked me if any of us (I assume he meant the flight crew) had razor blades with us. I told him 'no' and must have looked as though I questioned this inquiry. I told him if he needed to shave, and would be checking into a hotel, he probably could get a razor at the front desk. He said quickly, 'oh, I shouldn't have asked that -- it's ok.' he never told me why he asked the question. I mentioned this to a security person on another flight several days later. He said I should mail this to our company. In view of our heightened security alert, he thought it might be of interest. I reported this all to my manager and faxed them a detailed report. I was advised to let company security do any necessary contact with company employees. I also have sent a copy of my report to company's flight attendant safety department.

Title: A FLT ATTENDANT IN CHARGE RPTED THAT A FIRST CLASS PAX ON A B757 ASKED SPECIFIC QUESTIONS REGARDING THE ACFT'S SAFETY CARD AND LATER ASKED IF ANYONE HAD A RAZOR.
Narrative: ON THIS FLT FROM MIA TO LAS, ONE OF MY FIRST CLASS PAX CAME UP TO MY FIRST CLASS GALLEY WITH THE B757 BRIEFING CARD FROM HIS SEAT POCKET AND QUESTIONED ME EXTENSIVELY ABOUT WHICH ACFT ON THE DIAGRAM IN BRIEFING CARD WAS THE SAME AS THE B757 WE WERE FLYING ON OUR ACFT. I EXPLAINED THE DIFFERENCE IN OVERWATER (LIFE RAFTS), PARTIAL OVERWATER, AND ANSWERED HIS QUESTIONS REGARDING HOW WE WOULD IDENT THE DIFFERENT CONFIGNS. SHORTLY BEFORE LNDG IN LAS, AS I WALKED DOWN FIRST CLASS AISLE, HE ASKED ME IF ANY OF US (I ASSUME HE MEANT THE FLT CREW) HAD RAZOR BLADES WITH US. I TOLD HIM 'NO' AND MUST HAVE LOOKED AS THOUGH I QUESTIONED THIS INQUIRY. I TOLD HIM IF HE NEEDED TO SHAVE, AND WOULD BE CHKING INTO A HOTEL, HE PROBABLY COULD GET A RAZOR AT THE FRONT DESK. HE SAID QUICKLY, 'OH, I SHOULDN'T HAVE ASKED THAT -- IT'S OK.' HE NEVER TOLD ME WHY HE ASKED THE QUESTION. I MENTIONED THIS TO A SECURITY PERSON ON ANOTHER FLT SEVERAL DAYS LATER. HE SAID I SHOULD MAIL THIS TO OUR COMPANY. IN VIEW OF OUR HEIGHTENED SECURITY ALERT, HE THOUGHT IT MIGHT BE OF INTEREST. I RPTED THIS ALL TO MY MGR AND FAXED THEM A DETAILED RPT. I WAS ADVISED TO LET COMPANY SECURITY DO ANY NECESSARY CONTACT WITH COMPANY EMPLOYEES. I ALSO HAVE SENT A COPY OF MY RPT TO COMPANY'S FLT ATTENDANT SAFETY DEPT.
