Narrative:
I had just completed 3 takeoffs and lndgs on runway 31L at rhv and had informed tower that I was terminating. I had landed and made the turn off at taxiway C. Normally we are instructed to hold short of runway 31R due to landing traffic. As I was cleaning up the aircraft and slowing to an expected stop, I was cleared to cross runway 31R. Knowing there were operations going on runway 31R, I advanced the throttle to expedite my crossing. The tower then instructed me to hold short. By then my aircraft had crossed the hold short line. I looked to my right to see where the approach traffic was and saw a citabria just touching down on the runway 31R numbers. Recognizing the aircraft and knowing how their students are taught, (being a graduate student of that flight school), I hoped that they would be slowed to a stop before they reached my location. As my aircraft nose was already into their flight path and I was accelerating across the 50 ft wide runway, I kept going and cleared the runway on the other side. As I crossed the runway centerline, the tower again cleared me across runway 31R and to hold short of taxiway Z. As I contacted ground to taxi to parking, I was expecting a request to call the tower. None came. I know it was a close call and except for the experience and known teaching standards of the other aircraft's flight school (to always land at minimum landing airspeed), this incident might have ended in 2 damaged aircraft.

Title: AR-11BC PLT WAS CLRED TO CROSS A PARALLEL RWY. AFTER HE CROSSED THE HOLD SHORT LINE, THE TWR CTLR TOLD HIM TO HOLD SHORT. THERE WAS ANOTHER ACFT LNDG ON THE PARALLEL RWY AT THE SAME TIME.
Narrative: I HAD JUST COMPLETED 3 TKOFS AND LNDGS ON RWY 31L AT RHV AND HAD INFORMED TWR THAT I WAS TERMINATING. I HAD LANDED AND MADE THE TURN OFF AT TXWY C. NORMALLY WE ARE INSTRUCTED TO HOLD SHORT OF RWY 31R DUE TO LNDG TFC. AS I WAS CLEANING UP THE ACFT AND SLOWING TO AN EXPECTED STOP, I WAS CLRED TO CROSS RWY 31R. KNOWING THERE WERE OPS GOING ON RWY 31R, I ADVANCED THE THROTTLE TO EXPEDITE MY XING. THE TWR THEN INSTRUCTED ME TO HOLD SHORT. BY THEN MY ACFT HAD CROSSED THE HOLD SHORT LINE. I LOOKED TO MY R TO SEE WHERE THE APCH TFC WAS AND SAW A CITABRIA JUST TOUCHING DOWN ON THE RWY 31R NUMBERS. RECOGNIZING THE ACFT AND KNOWING HOW THEIR STUDENTS ARE TAUGHT, (BEING A GRADUATE STUDENT OF THAT FLT SCHOOL), I HOPED THAT THEY WOULD BE SLOWED TO A STOP BEFORE THEY REACHED MY LOCATION. AS MY ACFT NOSE WAS ALREADY INTO THEIR FLT PATH AND I WAS ACCELERATING ACROSS THE 50 FT WIDE RWY, I KEPT GOING AND CLRED THE RWY ON THE OTHER SIDE. AS I CROSSED THE RWY CTRLINE, THE TWR AGAIN CLRED ME ACROSS RWY 31R AND TO HOLD SHORT OF TXWY Z. AS I CONTACTED GND TO TAXI TO PARKING, I WAS EXPECTING A REQUEST TO CALL THE TWR. NONE CAME. I KNOW IT WAS A CLOSE CALL AND EXCEPT FOR THE EXPERIENCE AND KNOWN TEACHING STANDARDS OF THE OTHER ACFT'S FLT SCHOOL (TO ALWAYS LAND AT MINIMUM LNDG AIRSPD), THIS INCIDENT MIGHT HAVE ENDED IN 2 DAMAGED ACFT.
