Narrative:

I made a gear-up landing in yuma, az. My wife and I were in the plane. We did the landing checklist on final. I checked that gear switch was 'down' on final, but obviously did not check 3 green lights. The approach and landing were normal with one exception -- gear not down and locked. We skidded down the runway and then skidded off the runway. No one got hurt. The aircraft wasn't damaged much. The wings weren't damaged at all because we skidded on the flaps and propeller. The gear doors on the bottom of the fuselage weren't touched.
