Narrative:

During climb out of FL210 autoplt was engaged. Stabilizer out of trim annunciator flickered and I noticed an increase in forward speed. Buffet alert was displayed on FMC. Autoplt was disengaged. At the time I attempted to trim the aircraft via the electric trim. Nose up was inoperative but nose down did work (but I didn't need that). Stabilizer out of trim checklist was run and we manually re-trimmed the aircraft. Climb was continued. Maintenance control was contacted via operations radio. Maintenance control was informed as to what checklist we had run. They asked if it was inoperative on both a and B autoplt. We answered yes. They told us 'if you feel comfortable then continue on.' we did so. The captain elected to fly the aircraft and land in ZZZ. Maintenance replaced the trim motor and we continued to sea. This aircraft had had the trim motor replaced just 2 days prior to our flight. I am concerned that the aircraft may be burning up motors or the first motor was replaced with a bad one.

MAINT REPLACED THE TRIM MOTOR AND WE CONTINUED TO SEA. THIS ACFT HAD HAD THE TRIM MOTOR REPLACED JUST 2 DAYS PRIOR TO OUR FLT. I AM CONCERNED THAT THE ACFT MAY BE BURNING UP MOTORS OR THE FIRST MOTOR WAS REPLACED WITH A BAD ONE.
