Narrative:
After taxiing from gate at cyyz; received clearance to runway 23 via taxiway a-h. Checklist was completed and expanded commercial airport page was referenced for taxi direction. Tower cleared us for takeoff. Crew misidented txwys H and Q at the end of the runway; resulting in taking the wrong route to the runway. Problem source would appear to be that; on expanded commercial airport page; the letters identing the difference between taxiway Q and H are poorly located; leading to ambiguity. Supplemental information from acn 685022: while the commercial airport page is fairly clear in distinguishing taxiway Q and taxiway H; expanded commercial airport page is less clear and; in fact; can be confusing because of where the letter idents are placed and should be changed to match. Crew mistakes might be avoided in the future.

Title: FLT CREW OF A320 DEPART CYYZ RWY 23 AT TXWY Q RATHER THAN TXWY H AS CLRED. CITE CONFUSION OVER DISPLAY OF INTXNS ON THE COMMERCIAL ARPT PAGE.
Narrative: AFTER TAXIING FROM GATE AT CYYZ; RECEIVED CLRNC TO RWY 23 VIA TXWY A-H. CHKLIST WAS COMPLETED AND EXPANDED COMMERCIAL ARPT PAGE WAS REFED FOR TAXI DIRECTION. TWR CLRED US FOR TKOF. CREW MISIDENTED TXWYS H AND Q AT THE END OF THE RWY; RESULTING IN TAKING THE WRONG RTE TO THE RWY. PROB SOURCE WOULD APPEAR TO BE THAT; ON EXPANDED COMMERCIAL ARPT PAGE; THE LETTERS IDENTING THE DIFFERENCE BTWN TXWY Q AND H ARE POORLY LOCATED; LEADING TO AMBIGUITY. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 685022: WHILE THE COMMERCIAL ARPT PAGE IS FAIRLY CLR IN DISTINGUISHING TXWY Q AND TXWY H; EXPANDED COMMERCIAL ARPT PAGE IS LESS CLR AND; IN FACT; CAN BE CONFUSING BECAUSE OF WHERE THE LETTER IDENTS ARE PLACED AND SHOULD BE CHANGED TO MATCH.
