Narrative:
Prior to takeoff at teb; the captain (PNF) assured me that we were executing the dalton departure. He briefed me and I took off following his instructions. Ny approach corrected our altitude and heading. The captain had inadvertently turned over the dalton departure and was looking at the teb 5 departure. We ended up being 200 ft high and 45 degrees off heading. This did not lead to a near miss this time; but it could have done so very easily. I believe this was caused by the captain's constant confusion and distraction in the cockpit.

Title: C560XL FLT CREW INADVERTENTLY FLIES THE TEB 5 VICE THE DALTON SID DEP TEB. ATC ALERTS THE FLT CREW TO THE ERROR AND THEY RETURN TO THE CORRECT ALT.
Narrative: PRIOR TO TKOF AT TEB; THE CAPT (PNF) ASSURED ME THAT WE WERE EXECUTING THE DALTON DEP. HE BRIEFED ME AND I TOOK OFF FOLLOWING HIS INSTRUCTIONS. NY APCH CORRECTED OUR ALT AND HEADING. THE CAPT HAD INADVERTENTLY TURNED OVER THE DALTON DEP AND WAS LOOKING AT THE TEB 5 DEP. WE ENDED UP BEING 200 FT HIGH AND 45 DEGS OFF HEADING. THIS DID NOT LEAD TO A NEAR MISS THIS TIME; BUT IT COULD HAVE DONE SO VERY EASILY. I BELIEVE THIS WAS CAUSED BY THE CAPT'S CONSTANT CONFUSION AND DISTR IN THE COCKPIT.
