Narrative:
During debrief with pilot on aircraft; pilot mentioned nosewheel shimmy and frayed first officer's handheld microphone. I made note of discrepancies and continued with inspection. Upon completion of inspection; review of logbook was viewed by me. The only write-up that I noticed was for first officer's handheld microphone. Logbook entry for nosewheel shimmy was overlooked. Since I did not see write-up I made a non-routine write-up for nosewheel tires. Completely unaware of any logbook entry for nosewheel shimmy. Supplemental information from acn 704443: I unknowingly released the aircraft with an open write-up.
