Narrative:
Aft waste water drain mast heating system(south) inoperative. Plane lavatory and galley water supplies were secured off. Affected lavatory = (all 3!). Sinks secured close with tape. Affected lavatories did not set flush; only vacuum flush was working (all 3 lavatories!). Exceptionally unsanitary conditions: not having running water anywhere on the plane for a 5 hour flight. Potential health hazard!

Title: AN A319 CABIN ATTENDANT RPTS ALL 3 LAVATORIES HAD THE POTABLE WATER SHUTOFF DUE TO DRAIN MAST HEATER FAILURE. BELIEVES THIS IS AN UNSANITARY SIT.
Narrative: AFT WASTE WATER DRAIN MAST HEATING SYS(S) INOP. PLANE LAVATORY AND GALLEY WATER SUPPLIES WERE SECURED OFF. AFFECTED LAVATORY = (ALL 3!). SINKS SECURED CLOSE WITH TAPE. AFFECTED LAVATORIES DID NOT SET FLUSH; ONLY VACUUM FLUSH WAS WORKING (ALL 3 LAVATORIES!). EXCEPTIONALLY UNSANITARY CONDITIONS: NOT HAVING RUNNING WATER ANYWHERE ON THE PLANE FOR A 5 HR FLT.
