Narrative:
Working jan/sun/07; I was working task card inboard flap trunnion step 5A) I inadvertently put a line through my north/a (not applicable; pertaining to this aircraft). The correct action should have been north/a (not applicable); since step 5B pertains to this aircraft. As I recall; I was very busy that night and should not have made this paperwork error. I was contacted by supervisor. We discussed the task card and I realized that I made a paperwork error. Discussed paperwork error with a supervisor. I have done this task card many times; and apparently inadvertently lined out my own 'north/a' without properly correcting it before the paperwork went through the process of auditing it...this is my first major paperwork error; and I will now read all task cards more thoroughly regardless of how many times I have worked the task.
