Narrative:

Upon takeoff; while advancing power through 1.5 EPR; the right engine oil strainer clogging light came on. Decision to abort was made at less than 60 KTS and brake temperature peaked at 80 degrees C. Returned to gate to change out oil filter. Significant carbon deposits noted on old filter with no apparent metal fragments. Right engine run at gate; at idle power only to check new filter install for leaks; none noted. Airport personnel monitored our engine run at gate and showed unusual interest in this routine maintenance check. Subsequent takeoff routine.
