Narrative:
When departing from barnes airport; the local controller was late turning me over to westover. However; the controller gave me a wrong frequency. When I tried that frequency; they gave me the frequency for bradley approach. I called them and then they gave me the westover frequency. By the time I had talked to westover; I was well within their airspace. If the barnes local controller had handed me off sooner; there would not have been the delay in talking to westover. At this time I was also busy avoiding some terrain and getting navigation fixes set up in the VOR. Also; I did not realize that the westover class D overrides the barnes class D; making the distance before entering the westover class D much shorter than normal. I feel that the barnes controller should have given me the proper frequency when they released me and I told them that we would be nebound (this put me on a route directly into westover airspace).

Narrative: WHEN DEPARTING FROM BARNES ARPT; THE LCL CTLR WAS LATE TURNING ME OVER TO WESTOVER. HOWEVER; THE CTLR GAVE ME A WRONG FREQ. WHEN I TRIED THAT FREQ; THEY GAVE ME THE FREQ FOR BRADLEY APCH.
