Narrative:
Aircraft encountered moderate to severe turbulence. In vicinity of bdf VOR. Duration was 6-10 seconds. F/a working in back galley incurred injuries. Turbulence had been reported in area by ATC from FL250-FL330. Flight was descended early to FL240 to avoid possible turbulence. Cruise had been at FL410 where ride was smooth. Seat belt sign was illuminated shortly after commencing descent from FL410 and was on constantly. Ride was good at FL240 and the altitude had been established well in advance of bdf. Flight was routine after incident and paramedics met flight on arrival.

Title: ACR WDB ENCOUNTERED MODERATE TO SEVERE TURBULENCE AND A CABIN ATTENDANT WAS INJURED.
Narrative: ACFT ENCOUNTERED MODERATE TO SEVERE TURB. IN VICINITY OF BDF VOR. DURATION WAS 6-10 SECONDS. F/A WORKING IN BACK GALLEY INCURRED INJURIES. TURB HAD BEEN RPTED IN AREA BY ATC FROM FL250-FL330. FLT WAS DSNDED EARLY TO FL240 TO AVOID POSSIBLE TURB. CRUISE HAD BEEN AT FL410 WHERE RIDE WAS SMOOTH. SEAT BELT SIGN WAS ILLUMINATED SHORTLY AFTER COMMENCING DSCNT FROM FL410 AND WAS ON CONSTANTLY. RIDE WAS GOOD AT FL240 AND THE ALT HAD BEEN ESTABLISHED WELL IN ADVANCE OF BDF. FLT WAS ROUTINE AFTER INCIDENT AND PARAMEDICS MET FLT ON ARR.
