Narrative:
On final approach passing 1000 ft had trailing edge flap disagree EICAS. Captain executed missed approach and entered holding. Completed irregular procedure and set flaps to 20 degrees. After discussing fuel and landing requirements with dispatch/copilot; captain landed. Declared emergency; had fire trucks standing by for maximum performance landing and possible hot brakes. Did not prep cabin. Landed uneventfully.

Title: A B757-200 TRAILING EDGE (TE) FLAP DISAGREE EICAS ALERTED AT 1;000' ON APPROACH. AFTER A MISSED APPROACH; AN EMERGENCY WAS DECLARED FOLLOWED BY A NORMAL 20 DEGS FLAP LANDING.
