Narrative:

Normal takeoff, shortly before 10000' climbing 'a' hydraulic system failed. Followed abnormal procedure, continued to mia. Upon arrival in mia, FAA inspectors came aboard, telling us we left part of the plane in ny. I walked around the gear with an inspector and saw nothing abnormal. Later that night our chief pilot calls, accusing us of a tail strike in lga, claims we left our tail skid in lga, on the runway.
