Narrative:
Normal conditions at cruise altitude. Left engine hydraulic low pressure light illuminated followed by right engine hydraulic light. QRH procedures required turning off both engine driven hydraulic pumps. Remaining hydraulic pressure being provided by two electric pumps. Descended to a lower altitude and coordinated a turn toward land side arrival. Declared emergency with center. Flight continued; approach and landing normal.
