Narrative:
Departed bgm and at 800' AGL received a tailpipe hot light on warning panel. Retarded power level and warning persisted. Proceeded with precautionary engine shutdown on right engine and alerted bgm to call crash trucks. Landed bgm west/O incident and discovered heat sensors in tailpipe assembly were giving false indications. Operations checked ok and 45 mins later were en route to boston.

Narrative: DEPARTED BGM AND AT 800' AGL RECEIVED A TAILPIPE HOT LIGHT ON WARNING PANEL. RETARDED PWR LEVEL AND WARNING PERSISTED.
