Narrative:

I was working sector R-28 and cleared commuter X to climb to 14000'. Sector was extremely busy. At XA13 commuter X advised he couldn't pressurize and couldn't climb above 9000'. My tracker called greer approach to handoff commuter X. Gsp approach said, 'well, he's got traffic 12 O'clock.' I punched my all limited data block display and saw a code 3207 12 O'clock, 4 mi at 9000'. The tracker coordinated a south turn and I issued an immediate turn left to heading 180 degrees. Charlotte approach who was working small aircraft aircraft Y (code 3207) saw what was happening and descended Y. Apparently gsp approach had taken a point out on my aircraft X from clt approach, and then did not separate them from the rest of traffic. They missed by about 1-2 mi same altitude.

Title: LESS THAN STANDARD SEPARATION BETWEEN COMMUTER AND SMA. THREE FAA FAC INVOLVED. OPERATIONAL ERROR.

Narrative: I WAS WORKING SECTOR R-28 AND CLRED COMMUTER X TO CLB TO 14000'. SECTOR WAS EXTREMELY BUSY. AT XA13 COMMUTER X ADVISED HE COULDN'T PRESSURIZE AND COULDN'T CLB ABOVE 9000'. MY TRACKER CALLED GREER APCH TO HDOF COMMUTER X. GSP APCH SAID, 'WELL, HE'S GOT TFC 12 O'CLOCK.' I PUNCHED MY ALL LIMITED DATA BLOCK DISPLAY AND SAW A CODE 3207 12 O'CLOCK, 4 MI AT 9000'. THE TRACKER COORDINATED A S TURN AND I ISSUED AN IMMEDIATE TURN LEFT TO HDG 180 DEGS. CHARLOTTE APCH WHO WAS WORKING SMA ACFT Y (CODE 3207) SAW WHAT WAS HAPPENING AND DSNDED Y. APPARENTLY GSP APCH HAD TAKEN A POINT OUT ON MY ACFT X FROM CLT APCH, AND THEN DID NOT SEPARATE THEM FROM THE REST OF TFC. THEY MISSED BY ABOUT 1-2 MI SAME ALT.
