Narrative:
While cruising at 1300' indicated (below the 1400' floor of the outer ring of the nse arsa) a MTR passed directly over the small aircraft biplane I was flying. The MTR was doing practice gca approachs to south whiting field. I did not see the aircraft until it was directly over me and I assume he did not see me because of his wing location. He was estimated to be approximately 200-300' above my aircraft. I landed within 20 minutes at home field. My altimeter was within 40' of field elevation so my altimeter setting was pretty accurate. I think my upper wing and his low wing obscured each other.

Title: NMAC BETWEEN GA SMA AND MTR.
Narrative: WHILE CRUISING AT 1300' INDICATED (BELOW THE 1400' FLOOR OF THE OUTER RING OF THE NSE ARSA) A MTR PASSED DIRECTLY OVER THE SMA BIPLANE I WAS FLYING. THE MTR WAS DOING PRACTICE GCA APCHS TO SOUTH WHITING FIELD. I DID NOT SEE THE ACFT UNTIL IT WAS DIRECTLY OVER ME AND I ASSUME HE DID NOT SEE ME BECAUSE OF HIS WING LOCATION. HE WAS ESTIMATED TO BE APPROX 200-300' ABOVE MY ACFT. I LANDED WITHIN 20 MINUTES AT HOME FIELD. MY ALTIMETER WAS WITHIN 40' OF FIELD ELEVATION SO MY ALTIMETER SETTING WAS PRETTY ACCURATE. I THINK MY UPPER WING AND HIS LOW WING OBSCURED EACH OTHER.
