Narrative:
Leaving teb we were assigned the RUUDY2 SID; and ended up flying the dalton SID by mistake. The two departures are very similar; it was truly just a mistake that we briefed the back side of the plate which are printed on opposite sides of the same page. On departure; we made the right turn and climb to 1300 on the dalton. The ruudy actually has you on a similar heading; but then there are climb instructions to 1500 at 5 miles. ATC called and said; did teb give you the dalton? We responded yes; and they said; 'climb and maintain; have a good day; etc' with no other comment. His initial query had us take a look at our departure more thoroughly when we realized the mistake. The traffic was light; VFR conditions; and there was no TCAS advisory.since this; we have changed the way we load and brief clearances in our department.
