Narrative:
While in cruise I spotted an small aircraft at 12 O'clock, sam altitude, reciprocal heading. I banked right 30 degrees, small aircraft banked right 70 degrees, and we missed by 250'. Small aircraft was close enough that I caught the last 2 'north' #'south of registration. Estimated time from initial visual contact to passing: 5 seconds. Traffic was primary target and not called by controller (lax).
