Narrative:
While holding short of runway 11 on taxiway 2 at tus, we were switched to monitor tower frequency. We were told by tower a few mins after holding short to check our power at idle, which it was, and that a small plane had bent its propeller on our jet blast. We could not see the aircraft because it was directly behind us. As we were not told anymore than the aircraft had a bent propeller, I can only speculate to the cause. The small aircraft probably landed on runway 21 and turned left on taxiway a. This immediately put him very close behind us as our holding area on taxiway 2 is fairly short and our tail would be close to taxiway a. Also we were on tower frequency and therefore unaware of any problems occurring behind us. Supplemental information from acn 94532: moral: don't mess with something 30 times your weight.

Title: SMA TAXIED BEHIND HOLDING MLG JET RESULTING IN STRIKING PROPELLER AS A RESULT OF UPSET.
Narrative: WHILE HOLDING SHORT OF RWY 11 ON TXWY 2 AT TUS, WE WERE SWITCHED TO MONITOR TWR FREQ. WE WERE TOLD BY TWR A FEW MINS AFTER HOLDING SHORT TO CHK OUR PWR AT IDLE, WHICH IT WAS, AND THAT A SMALL PLANE HAD BENT ITS PROP ON OUR JET BLAST. WE COULD NOT SEE THE ACFT BECAUSE IT WAS DIRECTLY BEHIND US. AS WE WERE NOT TOLD ANYMORE THAN THE ACFT HAD A BENT PROP, I CAN ONLY SPECULATE TO THE CAUSE. THE SMA PROBABLY LANDED ON RWY 21 AND TURNED LEFT ON TXWY A. THIS IMMEDIATELY PUT HIM VERY CLOSE BEHIND US AS OUR HOLDING AREA ON TXWY 2 IS FAIRLY SHORT AND OUR TAIL WOULD BE CLOSE TO TXWY A. ALSO WE WERE ON TWR FREQ AND THEREFORE UNAWARE OF ANY PROBS OCCURRING BEHIND US. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 94532: MORAL: DON'T MESS WITH SOMETHING 30 TIMES YOUR WT.
