Narrative:
A part was dented out of limits (fuel line). [It was] re-worked in accordance with BAC5001-12; a boeing process specifically for dent removal. A component maintenance manual (cmm) process [was] found later after repair was complete. In [cmm] chapter 28; says to remove dents per BAC5001-12. It has the statement; 'this repair is for fuel drain and vent lines only;' and we repaired a fuel supply line. We will recall the part. A review of maintenance manuals is needed to find contradictions; such as this [one]; in work instructions due to the number of different documents.
