Narrative:
After initiating the takeoff roll; we heard an aircraft lined up and waiting on the parallel runway xx report seeing flames out of our number one engine. After quickly confirming with ATC that it was our aircraft; the captain took the aircraft and aborted the takeoff at around 100 KIAS. We did not have any abnormal indications in the flight deck. We exited; crossed the inside runway; and requested fire trucks to inspect the number one engine and brakes. In the meantime; we completed the rejected takeoff QRH procedure and checked the brake energy. Once the fire chief gave us the clear and the brake cooling performance was checked; we taxied and shut down to be towed into the gate.

Title: A B737-700 Captain rejected the takeoff at about 100 kts after another aircraft reported flames out of the number one engine during a night takeoff. The aircraft returned to the gate.
