Narrative:
Engine thrust loss on #2 engine. Declared an emergency and started approach into mco. At 4000' MSL #2 was shut down as egt went out of normal limits. Problem discovered with aircraft shudder. Emergency checklist completed. This occurred 1 week after recurrent training and showed how training is essential in being prepared.

Narrative: ENG THRUST LOSS ON #2 ENG. DECLARED AN EMER AND STARTED APCH INTO MCO. AT 4000' MSL #2 WAS SHUT DOWN AS EGT WENT OUT OF NORMAL LIMITS. PROB DISCOVERED WITH ACFT SHUDDER. EMER CHKLIST COMPLETED. THIS OCCURRED 1 WK AFTER RECURRENT TRNING AND SHOWED HOW TRNING IS ESSENTIAL IN BEING PREPARED.
