Narrative:
After push back from the gate and engine start, taxi instructions were received to cross runway 8, taxi to runway 15. I observed a fuel truck parked close abeam to the aircraft at gate ab. This required swinging out of the gate to the left, and took my aircraft very close to runway 15/3 (departure end). I observed that there was no definitive taxi line, only a small white line parallel to the runway and a larger white line marking the southeast border of the runway. I was maneuvering to miss the fuel truck, which caused my left wing to be close to the smaller white line. Ground called and told me to stay clear of runway 33 as an aircraft was taking off. Though I was clear of the runway at all times, I was obviously too close for an aircraft to be cleared for takeoff. I feel this arrangement at burbank is very unsafe. The slightest miscalculation or inattention could have put me on the active takeoff runway in the path of a departing aircraft. Taxi lines need to be painted on the taxiway to ensure aircraft are kept clear of runway 33/15. Takeoff should not be authorized with aircraft maneuvering out of these gates.

Title: ACR MLG RWY TRANSGRESSION WHILE TAXIING OUT AT BUR.
Narrative: AFTER PUSH BACK FROM THE GATE AND ENG START, TAXI INSTRUCTIONS WERE RECEIVED TO CROSS RWY 8, TAXI TO RWY 15. I OBSERVED A FUEL TRUCK PARKED CLOSE ABEAM TO THE ACFT AT GATE AB. THIS REQUIRED SWINGING OUT OF THE GATE TO THE L, AND TOOK MY ACFT VERY CLOSE TO RWY 15/3 (DEP END). I OBSERVED THAT THERE WAS NO DEFINITIVE TAXI LINE, ONLY A SMALL WHITE LINE PARALLEL TO THE RWY AND A LARGER WHITE LINE MARKING THE SE BORDER OF THE RWY. I WAS MANEUVERING TO MISS THE FUEL TRUCK, WHICH CAUSED MY L WING TO BE CLOSE TO THE SMALLER WHITE LINE. GND CALLED AND TOLD ME TO STAY CLR OF RWY 33 AS AN ACFT WAS TAKING OFF. THOUGH I WAS CLR OF THE RWY AT ALL TIMES, I WAS OBVIOUSLY TOO CLOSE FOR AN ACFT TO BE CLRED FOR TKOF. I FEEL THIS ARRANGEMENT AT BURBANK IS VERY UNSAFE. THE SLIGHTEST MISCALCULATION OR INATTENTION COULD HAVE PUT ME ON THE ACTIVE TKOF RWY IN THE PATH OF A DEPARTING ACFT. TAXI LINES NEED TO BE PAINTED ON THE TAXIWAY TO ENSURE ACFT ARE KEPT CLR OF RWY 33/15. TKOF SHOULD NOT BE AUTHORIZED WITH ACFT MANEUVERING OUT OF THESE GATES.
